The school holidays have just started, and there’s no better time for the launch of these kid-friendly events. The best things to do in Singapore ranges from educational scientific exploration at the upcoming Chaos Lab, where you can “intern” under a “mad scientist” and learn all about science, to cartoon pop-ups, comprising Nintendo, Disney and Warner Bros., that will fulfill your child’s dreams.

Here are 5 family-friendly things to do in Singapore this month.

1. Nintendo pop up

For kids and parents alike, the ultimate gaming experience is heading your way this November. Singapore’s very first Nintendo pop-up store is making its grand debut at Jewel Changi Airport.

It’s a gaming wonderland for all ages, allowing the adults to immerse into a world of nostalgia and the kids to interact with their favourite characters as you explore merchandise from iconic franchises like Super Mario, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, and Pikmin.

While the details of the merchandise and prices are still a mystery, one thing is for sure — it’s going to be a collector’s dream come true. But for now, all we know is that if you spend $80 or more in a single transaction at the Nintendo pop-up, you’ll receive one of six limited-edition postcards featuring stunning Singapore landmarks like Marina Bay Sands, Jewel Changi Airport, and Chinatown. Even better, if you or your kid has a Nintendo account, be sure to check in while you’re at the pop-up store, as you can collect special sticker for free, with a choice of 18 different designs available at random every day.
